Program Description
Midwifery trains students to provide care for mothers, newborns, and families before, during and after childbirth. You will study anatomy and physiology, maternal and newborn care, pharmacology, midwifery practice, community health, and basic clinical skills. The program combines classroom learning with hands-on clinical placements in hospitals and community clinics so you gain real experience with deliveries, antenatal and postnatal care, and health promotion. Graduates can work as registered midwives in maternity wards, community health centers, public health programs, or continue into nursing, healthcare administration, medical laboratory or allied health roles.
