Applied Meteorology and Climate Science teaches how the atmosphere works, how weather and climate are measured, and how this knowledge is used to protect lives and livelihoods. Students study physics and chemistry basics that explain weather, mathematics and statistics for data analysis, laboratory and field skills for collecting observations, and computer tools for modelling and mapping.
